What to do if you Find a Deceased Cat

All of us at Cat Watch Rescue thank you for trying to help. As animal lovers we would all rather know what has happened to our fur baby, than spend forever wondering.

If the deceased cat is in the road try and remove it, but only if it is safe to do so.

Try to get the deceased cat to a vet so they can scan for a microchip.

If you can't take the cat to a vet please contact us and we can see if we have a volunteer free who will come out to scan and check for a microchip.

Please provide as much information as you can in regards to location e.g. landmarks, not just the name of the road.

Hide the cat behind a bush or wall but never in a bin.
